Singers and Players of Instruments Ron Rost Organ and Keyboards A multi-instrumentalist, Ron played acoustic bass, mountain dulcimer, and recorder with Feast or Famine in the early eighties, synth with the Sundog in the mid eighties, baritone horn with the Galactive Collective in the late eighties and keyboards and baritone horn with the East African band, New Nile Orchestra in the nineties to the present. He has toured New England and the Midwest and recorded extensively with these groups. For the past 20 years, Ron has been on the staff of the Middlebury College dance program accompanying and composing music for contemporary modern dance. At home, on stage in a concert setting or in a dance hall extravaganza, Ron explores life through the musical adventure of experimentation
